Unlike an ordinary consumer CompactFlash card, Fortasa's Industrial CompactFlash product provides exact component traceability to ensure that all critical components (such as Flash Controller, NAND Memory Components, PCB, Connector and Firmware) are exactly the same as were qualified by the customer. Every Fortasa part number is mapped to a unqiue and specific Bill of Materials (BOM) which is identical for all the product shipments with the same Fortasa part number.
Fortasa's CompactFlash cards provide complete PCMCIA - ATA functionality and compatibility. Fortasa's CompactFlash products are used in variety of applications, including Point of Sale (POS) terminals, telecom, IP-STB, medical instruments, surveillance systems, industrial PCs and handheld devices.
