Fortasa's 1.8" Industrial Serial ATA Flash Drive Series offers direct replacement to a conventional 1.8" HDD that is significantly more rugged, reliable and power-efficient. Containing no moving parts, the Fortasa Industrial SSDs are designed to be used in rugged environments where data reliability requirements are much higher than that of a consumer product. Potential applications are military devices, thin clients, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, telecom, medical instruments, surveillance systems and industrial PCs. The SAFD Series products offer high capacity, greater performance, low power consumptions and extended reliability.
Fortasa's Industrial SATA Flash SSDs are manufactured with either high reliability SLC NAND Flash or cost effective MLC NAND Flash components in both Standard (0°C to 70°C) and Industrial (-40°C to 85°C) Temperature grades. With capacity range from 8GB to 512GB and Read and Write performance of over 400MB/sec. Fortasa's Industrial SATA SSDs can benefit any embedded application where high reliability or extreme environmental conditions are a must.
